IT bands suck

I haven't been following my training *exactly* for this half marathon I'm doing in 6 1/2 weeks. 2 weeks ago (basically, the first few days of the training plan) My IT band was on FIRE. Like, it would throb all day long and felt like knives were stabbing into it while I ran. So I've been easing back on the speed paces and biking whenever possible instead of running for the last 2 weeks.

Result?

I went out to do my 7 mile run this morning, and I was a little nervous. While my knee has slowly been getting better the last couple weeks, it's always a nagging feeling that I try to ignore and hope it goes away. I didn't feel it at ALL today! YAY! No pain at all in my knee? What a great day.

Back into training!
