This morning I ran to our community pool which is finally OPEN! And then I jumped in and swam laps for about 20 minutes.
I LOVE swimming. The weightlessness and gliding through the water. I don't notice the sweating! The smell of chlorine is a sweet perfume to me. (that's what high school and college swimming did for me!) There is no pounding on my lower extremities which are so prone to injury!
I would have swam longer but I didn't have a lot of time before hubby left for work. AND I want to build back up slowly. Did 1200 yards and it left me yearning for MORE.
